Brian Tai — better known as “Bowtai” — is the owner and head coach of Bowtai Fitness. He is a certified personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, golf performance specialist, nutrition coach, and recovery practitioner.

Bowtai has been coaching professionally since 2012. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Biology from George Mason University and has since acquired a range of advanced certifications, including:

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(CSCS – NSCA)

  • Titleist Performance Institute Certified (TPI-1)

  • USA Powerlifting Certified Coach (USAPL)

  • Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC – Rusin)

Tim Sun is the founder and owner of Sun Fitness. He is an Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). After graduating and earning his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2015, from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), he began practicing personal training. His undergraduate background in physical therapy put him in out patient settings to brain trauma rehabilitation settings.

He preaches that the changes that you want to see all begin with your lifestyle. The keys to success are knowing how to improve, implementing a sustainable plan, and remaining consistent. He coaches clients by creating customized exercise programs, providing nutritional guidance, and focusing on positivity.

Tim and his team serves many different populations; from performance athletes, busy professionals, chronic disease populations, to beginners. Every trainer has their own specializations and so he believes in a customized approach for every single client they help.

Sun Fitness is affiliated with the Parkinson’s Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA), the Shepherd’s Center, and the Eric Monday Foundation’s “Melee Til’ Midnight” mental health awareness wrestling tournament.

Meet Dr. Justin Ham, a highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy and Osteopractor specializing in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Currently engaged in an orthopedic fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice, with a focus on preventative care.

Originally from South Korea and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Ham has a background in collegiate-level basketball and soccer. He offers personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, catering to a diverse clientele from young athletes to active seniors. Now serving the Northern Virginia area, Dr. Ham is committed to helping his clients achieve their goals both on and off the course through excellence in rehabilitation.
